Where we began

Three generations, one recipe for hospitality.

It started in a family kitchen in Kabul, where the saffron came wrapped in cloth and a full table was the warmest welcome a household could offer. We learned to cook the way our parents and grandparents did, slowly, generously, and by memory.

Today we carry that table across the world. The occasions are grander and the kitchens are bigger, but the belief is the same: a meal is the most generous thing one person can give another.
